Life
is sweet,
with rough bits
at the edges.
Can you take it all?
Or would you rather fall
from the jagged, splintered brink,
until you start to sink
into the salty
soup of despair?
I’ll meet you
there. Say
where.

I find my creative honey
And dive in.
Taste it on my tongue,
My toes.
Slurp each golden droplet
From my fingertips.
Let the crystal nectar
Take me on a journey,
Known only by my soul.
Streaming through my body,
Like threads of liquid amber.
It drips from my heartspace,
And pools in my womb.
A reservoir of dreams,
Yet to be spoken.
